How will I be able to see updates on my booking arrangements ?

 

I will communicate with you via phone or email to add details to your booking plan. I keep all my booking forms on dropbox so I can send a link of your plans as required to see your updates.

How will I receive my digital pictures ?

 

You will receive your digital pictures via an online link. A website called 'Pixieset’. This website allows you to view, share, make favourites, order prints, and download full resolution pictures straight onto your computer. This online album will be active to order prints and download from free for one month. If you need your album uploading again, please just let us know. Each re-upload has a £2.50 fee and your album will be active for one month. ( You can keep your online album active for as long as you like for £2.50 a month after the first free month ) So you can have online access to your event on the go at any time.

Every event that Savage Images does is stored and backed up to two hard drives. So your pictures will always be safe if you ever need them again.

 

How many pictures will I receive ?

I try to capture as many pictures as I can of your event. Every shoot results in a different number of images depending on the nature, duration, and how many sections of the day there are.

 

How long will I have to wait for my digital pictures ?

 

I will keep you updated on the progress of your pictures. Normally you will receive your edited and chosen pictures within two to four weeks depending how busy we are. If we have a few weddings back to back within a month, it may be 1-2 months for your finished online album. And then 2-4 weeks for your personalised wooden USB photo boxes to be delivered. This is a rough guideline, I will update each client on a rough delivery of digital and physical pictures. During busy periods as I have children, and other jobs, a longer wait than 1-2 months may apply but I will keep you updated on this. You will always recieve your pictures and everything you have paid for :D

 

If you have the video reel package, you will receive your pictures first, then be updated when the video is uploaded as this takes extra editing time.

 

Do you watermark my images ?

 

Nope ! Your images are yours to use as you wish once payment has been received. It's YOUR special day.

Only local events or volunteer work may be subject to watermarks.

 

Do I need to pay a deposit ?

 

A non refundable deposit of 10% of the booking amount will be required to hold your date. ( In certain circumstances I may offer a refund depending on the nature of a cancellation )

 

How do I pay the balance ?

 

Once the deposit is paid. The date is yours. The remaining balance will need to be paid on, or by the day of the event. Either in instalments before hand at your leisure to spread the cost, or in one go. I may still take the pictures. But not release them until the balance is paid.

 

You can pay via Pay Pal, bank transfer, or cash.

 

Refunds of deposit and balances

 

Any balance paid off can be refunded up to 1 week before the event via a cancellation from the client. But In most cases I may make an exception and pay the full amount back at any time ( not including the deposit )

 

If for any reason through illness or natural unforeseen circumstances I can't make a booking. You will be given a full refund of any monies paid plus the deposit. I will try everything in my power to still offer you the days pictures through other photographers I know.

 

Bank statements act as a proof of payment and I will also add your payment updates to your booking form.

 

Do you do prints ?

 

Yes, you can order your prints from your online Pixieset album in a selection of sizes and different paper. These are slightly more expensive than shop prints, but the quality is far superior. You can also order framed prints, canvas, edge prints, wood prints and more !

Do you do photo books ?

 

At the moment I do not do printed photo books but I can direct you to printing sites that do.

Disclaimer ( Mainly for weddings )

We naturally capture the day as it unfolds, every christening, party, wedding or event is different. The number and quality of the pictures that your finished album will have will depend on the day itself. If there is lots happening, with lots of people, you will receive a finished album to reflect this. If a lot of people are camera shy or the venue is a little awkward, there may be less in terms of quantity in a finished album. But we always strive to snap as much as we can regardless.
